Historic and technical information
Denomination :     75/27 CK contraerei Origin :       ( Arsenale di Napoli)             ( Krupp )

Historic context :

The 'Cannone da 75/27 C.K.' has been developed by the Napoli Arsenal on the basis oif the Krupp 75/27 modello 1906 fieldgun to respond to the demand of a mobile anti-aircraft gun. The barrel, whose mouth had been remachined and having received new bronze parts on its breech, was equipped with a new 2 cylinders hydro-spring recoil recuperation system and mounted on a pivot mount.

The gun was initially designed for being placed on the platform of a Italia X or Fiat 18BL truck, but the manufacturing costs and the frontline stabilization induced the production of numerous static guns on the pivot mount : only 72 out of the 165 guns produced during WW1 were of the automobile version.

The 75/27 CK was used during WW1, and until the end of WW2 (then mounted on a new truck Ceirano 50 CMA)
