Historic and technical information
Denomination :     7.5cm M 07 GebK Origin :       ( Skoda)

Historic context :

Before the birth of the brilliant 7.5 cm GebK M15 montain gun, Skoda manufactured different successive models with calibres 7 or 7.5 cm, adopted by the Austrian army in small quantities or exported to other countries, taking the opportunity to introduce progressively the modern techniques that will build the success of the M15 mark.

The mountain gun '7.5 cm GebK M7 L/14' is one of them. It seems it has not been adopted by the Austro-Hungarian army and it is unknown if it has been exported. The presence of one survivor on a Prague museum do not allow to solve this mystery, nor to give information on its characteristics, but it might mean that some of these were used anyway during WW1.
