Historic context :
Most of the European weapons industry majors were present on the market of artillery guns specifically designed for use in mountains at the end of the XIXth century, for their country needs but also for exportation. In Germany, this type of gun was not very popular, and before 1900 only Krupp had such weapons in its catalogue, and was mainly selling it abroad. |
