Historic context :
In 1880 the Russian army adopted a 42 lines (107 mm - 1 line = 0.1 iinch) variant of the Krupp 105 mm M 1877 siege and fortress gun. Still, the gun was given the 1877 millenium from the iege et de place de 105mm M 1877. in this rare case corresponding to the year the whole artillery system was adopted with the 34 lines and 42 lines fieldguns. |
